Iranian Cultural Center in Athens has planned to hold an exhibition of Quranic calligraphy and Iranian-Islamic illumination works in Greece.
Iranian cultural attaché in Greece, Ali-Mohammad Helmi, met the head of the national library of Greece, the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) announced recently.
Held on October 23, the meeting was held to talk about mutual cooperation in a number of areas, including arrangements for the exhibition.
Titled ‘Heavenly Art’, the exhibition is set to be held in cooperation with the national library and Benaki Museum of Islamic Art.
The officials also agreed to organize a workshop by two Iranian artists on the sidelines of the exhibition where some 35 artworks will go on display.
